The beaches of the ria (bay) of Vigo are regarded as some of the best in Galicia, if if not the whole of Spain, and there are more than 10. Samil Beach is the largest of these beaches and runs for almost one mile and has the typical bleached white sand of the region.

 

The sunset over the Cies Islands is just breathtaking, one of the best experiences in the world.
